Hutzell Athletic Center is the home for Cougars basketball and volleyball, as well as locker room facilities for men’sand women’s soccer, baseball, softball, cross-country, and track and field; offices for the coaching staff on the second floor, west side; and the Hutzell Fitness Center. HAC was opened in May 1990, and in the first basketball game in November 1990 USF edged IPFW 66-64. HAC coaches’ offices were relocated on the second floor of the west end during a $200,000 renovation project that included expansion of locker room and training facilities, completed in August 2008.

FROM THE NORTH: Travel interstate 69 and exit Highway 14 (Fort Wayne - Illinois Rd Exit#105A) Travel east on Highway 14 for approximately 1 mile. Highway 14 will intersect Highway 24 (Jefferson Blvd.) Travel east on Jefferson Blvd. for approximately 1 mile. Turn left on Lindenwood Avenue and travel approximately 1 mile to Spring Street. West side of campus is on the right, and the main entrance is on Spring Street. (Parking for football games is off of Leesburg Road, east side of campus past the main entrance on Spring Street to Leesburg Road, turn right.

FROM THE SOUTH: Travel interstate 69 and exit Highway 14 (Fort Wayne - Illinois Rd. Exit 105A) Travel east on Highway 14 for approximately 1 mile. Highway 14 will intersect Highway 24 (Jefferson Blvd.) Travel east on Jefferson Blvd for approximately 1 mile. Turn left on Lindenwood Avenue and travel approximately 1 mile to Spring Street. West side of campus is on the right, and the main entrance is on Spring Street. FROM THE EAST: Travel west on Highway 24 (Washington Blvd) Travel on Washington Blvd. through downtown. On the west-side of downtown Washington Blvd. will merge with Jefferson Blvd. Continue approximately 1 mile to Lindenwood Avenue. Turn right on Lindenwood and travel approximately 1 mile to Spring Street. West side of campus is on the right, and the main entrance is on Spring Street. FROM THE WEST: Travel east on Highway 24 (Fort Wayne - Jefferson Blvd) Travel on Jefferson Blvd. for approximately 3 miles (after crossing under Interstate 69).
